Problem with content registration after moving systems

Dear Sir,

Apologies for providing the incorrect ISSN earlier. The correct ISSN for the Polytechnic Journal is:

  • ISSN (Online): 2707-7799
  • ISSN (Print): 2313-5727

We kindly request your assistance in resolving the DOIs related to the articles listed in the attached Excel file, as we are currently unable to resolve them.

Please note that we are now using the Elsevier Digital Commons system, which is responsible for assigning new DOIs. However, these specific DOIs are from an earlier period when we used the OJS system. After consulting with the Elsevier Digital Commons team, we were informed that only your side can resolve them.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your positive response.

Best regards,

DOI Issues Vol 12 (1).xlsx (11.4 KB)

Hello there @Karwan ,

Thanks for following up. You’re right, the DOIs in your sheet have never been registered with Crossref - https://0-doi-org.libus.csd.mu.edu/10.25156/ptj.v12n1y2022.pp193-202. [Note: DOIs that resolve to the DOI NOT FOUND error on doi.org mean they have never been registered.]

If you can provide me with Crossref formatted XML for the DOIs in your sheet, I can help get the DOIs registered. Can you export the XML out of OJS for these articles and send it to my attention at support@crossref.org?

Thanks in advance,
Isaac

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your prompt response and clarification.

Would you kindly proceed with registering these DOIs at your earliest convenience? Please ensure that the same DOIs are maintained, as some articles have already been cited using the exact identifiers mentioned.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your confirmation.

Best regards,

Hello,

I’m sorry, I’m confused by what this message is in reference to.

We register DOIs for books but not for our journals. Project MUSE assigns DOIs to journal articles.

Best regards,

Vicki
