ROR for metadata update

Hi both. I update and enrich metadata by Metadata Manager, and one of the fields is Organization name in te field ‘Affiliation’.
There is a possibility to use ROR records when I do this update.
My version of OJS doesn’t support the ROR plugin.

Hi Edilson,

The schema update which allows ROR IDs in affiliations happened long after the decision to deprecate Metadata Manager.

We’re not doing bug fixes or any new additions to Metadata Manager, since it’s slated for full deprecation shortly. So, ROR will not be added there.

I would guess that a forthcoming version of the OJS plugin will eventually be updated to allow for ROR IDs in affiliation metadata, but only PKP could say for sure.
