The Event Data API has switched

As mentioned recently, the Event Data API has been struggling and the amount of downtime has been much larger than we would like. To remedy the situation, we have moved it to a new infrastructure with better Elasticsearch performance, along with making a few other tweaks that will improve performance.

We’ve taken a decision to push the new and more reliable service live to while still populating the search index. This means that some older events are currently not available through the API: 2020 is fully indexed along with 2018 and most of 2019, but previous years’ data are still missing. The missing events will be added in the coming weeks, however if you need to get access to older events you can still do so via, which uses the old API infrastructure. This will only be available for a short time to support the switch to the new infrastructure.
