Disruptions to Event Data

We are currently experiencing some instability issues with the Event Data API meaning that new events are not being added and the endpoint might be slow and/or intermittently unavailable. We are working on it and expect to be able to catch up on the missing events, but it may take 2-3 days to fully backfill once we’ve resolved the problems. We’re currently investigating the cause and will update here when a fix is in place.

We have resolved the issues with adding new events and are currently back-filling. This process is giving some knock-on effects to stability of the API and users may experience intermittent outages.

Note that we are focusing our efforts on a new service that will eventually replace Event Data, rather than putting more resources into Event Data. See Relationships are here for more information.

Event Data is now more stable, events are coming in and the API is not experiencing periods of downtime. Users might still experience long query times and occasional timeouts. Apologies for the ongoing issues. If you would like to know more about our future plans for Event Data please get in touch.
