We have completed the next step for delivery of metadata from Retraction Watch. The csv file could previously be downloaded from our labs infrastructure. In order to make it easier to update and more stable, we have moved it to a git repository at the following location:
This mean that there are three ways to access the full dataset:
- Clone the git repository. The most recent changes can be pulled on a daily basis. This is the best option for keeping up with the most current version.
- Directly download the full dataset from https://gitlab.com/crossref/retraction-watch-data/-/raw/main/retraction_watch.csv?ref_type=heads&inline=false.
- Continue to use the previous link at https://0-api-labs-crossref-org.libus.csd.mu.edu/data/retractionwatch?email@domain.com. While we will maintain this option for some time, we recommend that existing users switch to one of the other options as soon as possible.
The dataset is updated each working day (at around 23:00 UTC).
We are still planning to deliver the Retraction Watch retractions alongside Crossref member metadata in an API. We will schedule this change after completing some other high priority projects.
You can find documentation with additional details about the dataset at Retraction Watch - Crossref.
