Are your goals good for your mental health?

Last week the SSP UK committee ran an event discussing goal setting for scholarly publishing professionals with guest speaker David Klaasen, a practitioner in brain and behaviour change and Director of Talent4Performance.

According to the latest neuroscience research, there are goals that can increase your well-being and others that decrease it (intrinsic vs. extrinsic goals). This was an interesting discussion where we shared how to stay motivated, particularly during these current trying times, and how to set goals that align with our sense of self.
