In July 2021, Crossref started to support the collection of ROR IDs in the metadata we collect, to help with the reliable identification and downstream use of affiliation data connected to research outputs. This means that content registered with Crossref can be associated with ROR IDs to enable better tracking and discovery of research and other publication outputs by institution.
On Sep 29, 2021 03:00 PM in UTC we’ll be running a webinar with ROR and some of our members to talk about how Crossref members can work with ROR and integrate the collection of ROR IDs into their workflows.
